ex-Brave Jerome Robinson now assistant at St. Bonaventure under Mark Schmidt.
St. Bonaventure with zilch facilities and budget compared to Bradley just knocked off Davidson & VCU, they're winning consistently, play good basketball, & he's already taken SBU to NCAA. Head coach Schmidt comes from impressive background makes well under half what we pay our head coach, and if he brings his assts, remember one is a BU guy!
...and btw - he also outrecruited us for Fred Van Vleet's teammate Marcus Posley who is one of the best players in the nation.
ex-Brave Jerome Robinson now assistant at St. Bonaventure under Mark Schmidt.....
Good news for past BU Brave Jerome Robinson - he's an assistant on a staff that has done well and head coach Mark Schmidt just got a raise & extension...
Congrats..
Ex Bradley player Jerome Robinson just finished his 3rd season as an assistant coach at St. Bonaventure. He has helped rebuild St. Bonaventure into a perrennial winner in the tough Atlantic-10 Conference. They have averaged 20 wins in the 3 seasons Jerome has been there, and they haven't had a stretch of success like that since the 1970's!
And even better news for Jerome- He is leaving St. Bonaventure for a better job. He was just hired by Paul Weir, the new head coach at New Mexico University, as an assistant coach-
