Memphis' hiring of high school coach Keelon Lawson is already paying dividends. His oldest son, K.J. Lawson, a 6'7" wing who is rated among the Top 50 players in the country for 2015 already committed to Memphis. Plus, Lawson has 2 other sons, and the next oldest, Dedric Lawson, a 5-star 6'8" power forward, and one of the top players in the class of 2016 (currently ranked 7th) has said he will commit to Memphis also. The 3rd son, Chandler Lawson, is a 6'6" wing who is an 8th grader, currently the #1 ranked player in the class of 2019. Memphis could be good for a long time.

5-Star guard Jalen Brunson has narrowed his list to just TWO and will reportedly decide this week --

he names only Villanova and Illinois ...and I have to think the Illini ar sitting in a good spot - but too early to be sure since several other big name guys also hinted Illinois then chose elsewhere

Here's a true package deal...

Washington head coach Lorenzo Romar offered an assistant coaching position to a guy who isn't and who has never coached college men's basketball...
he's a women's assistant at Mizzou...but....of course there's an additional part of the "package" that I am sure Romar was hoping to land...
that the guy's son is a 5-Star stud...

Interesting - the guy turned the offer down - which makes ya think he's actually getting some better offers...
