How Much Success To Earn GF a Contract Extension?

If memory serves me, GF will be in Year 4 of his initial 5 year contract at BU.

Assuming he wouldn't coach in Year 5 without a contract extension, how much success does BU have to achieve in 2014-15 to justify some kind of contract extension and GF coaching in 2015-16?

the monetary problems currently would preclude buying out his contract and unless he is downright bad the next two years, he will be extended because it would be just too costly to can him and go through the steps to get a new guy & rebuild.
I would be stunned if BU has a new basketball coach any time in the next 5 years..
