Great article about a great kid. Wish we could recruit more shooters like him. Another fact a lot of people may not know about Aaron. He started officiating basketball shortly after college and would have been pretty good if he would have stayed with it, but family and work came first. Really enjoyed watching him during his BU career.

The Illinois class of 2015 appears to have a lot of quality shooters in it.
One of Bradley's current recruits, Xavier Bishop of Springfield Lanphier, was perhaps the most impressive shooter at the Richwoods Shootout. He carried Lanphier to the title game where they lost to Rock Island. He scored 35 points against a good Manuel team in the semifinal, and was making shots from as far as almost 30 feet away from the basket.
I wouldn't mind seeing Bradley get involved with recruiting Jerry Myles, a kid who transferred to United Township High School (East Moline) from a prep school in Kansas. He is 6'5" and may have been the best player at the Richwoods Shootout. He can do it all and is a tremendous shooter.
A kid that has been mentioned on the board before- Trevor Stumpe of Plainfield North HS is a 2015 kid. He is a 6'5 shooting guard who is a solid D1 prospect who currently only has offers from NIU and UIC. But he can really shoot the ball. He averaged close to 30 points as a junior.
And there are a bunch more great shooters in the Chicago area.
Then there is A.J. Youngman, who will probably play for Morton HS this year after a transfer from the Louisville school he attended the last few years. He will be just a sophomore (class of 2017). He is a tremendous shooter, and has already scored over 1000 points in his varsity career with 3 more years to play! He did play for the varsity as a 7th and 8th grader, though.
Here is more on some of the kids at the Richwoods Shootout from the Peoria Journal Star-

Can anyone else name at least three other D-I basketball players that came out of Morton? (boys - so don't name Sarah Livingston)

This, however is incorrect, as AJ Youngman has only played two years there - it is a BRAND new high school that just opened their doors for the very first time in August of 2012.
AJ Youngman's dad was the varsity high school coach the past two years.
More on AJ Youngman from a couple years ago -
and an older story on his dad, Jim
