  • <from what I hear we will need to draw that many more to cover the food-allowance if Max is here...>

My laugh of the day. Thanks, T.

I'm 57 years old, but if Max plays here I promise to do cartwheels the length of the court opening night. I'd say I'd do back flips like the cheerleaders, but one attempt would put me in traction for the season.

    C'mon Max!
    Yajusneverno!

    • Michigan guard Caris Lavert announces he is returning to Michigan for his senior year. That was the one chance of a scholarship opening, and now that is gone. Also, Michigan is still in the running for 5-star forward Jaylen Brown as well as 4-star guard Kenny Williams. If one or both pick Michigan (and Coach Beilein will surely find a scholarship for them) it would seem to crowd Max out even more.

Michigan's Caris LeVert - ..has decided to stay at Michigan and NOT commit to the NBA Draft..

......thus he might make his decision soon and he might transfer elsewhere that offers a scholarship
          ..

dominoes keep falling and we know Max loves the deli section at Schnuck's...(uh oh, Bloomington has one, too...but ours is easier to get to from campus)

HOI's Jim Mattson just reached Max - and he says he won't decide yet..
has six schools on his list - including ISU & Bradley...

          Memo to whomever -
ISU currently has FIVE scholarship frontcourt & low post players on their roster (for 2015) that are taller than Bielfeldt
(Ndiaye, Ransom, Hawkins, McIntosh, Banyard - all of whom the coach has already stated he will be playing to develop them for the future...)

BU has only one (Shaw) so Max must choose wisely...

he has instantly become the most sought-after big in DI

one of the Michigan players who was projected to be their big man starter and one of the reasons they cut loose Max Bielfeldt was
Ricky Doyle...but after a very unproductive (redshirt) sophomore season (just 4 ppg but they play a very guard-oriented offense) - he was also cut loose...

He is now at FGCU - big time get for the FGCU Eagles - Creighton was recruiting Doyle hard

interesting reasons given that Michigan's one-time TOP 100 (in Class of 2014) Ricky Doyle chose FGCU...

"Doyle’s .... been a friend and pickup player with FGCU’s players ....and FGCU athletic director Ken Kavanagh’s youngest sons attended Bishop Verot and befriended Doyle – ....
... the family also has put its faith in Kavanagh.."

Cuevas spent 2015-16 and 2016-17 at ICC ...but he redshirted his 1st year and played just one year at ICC.
This past season ICC was 16-14 at the DII level of NJCAA, he averaged 8.7 ppg, 41.9% on 3-pt shooting, 3.4 rpg, 1.1 apg

He is NOT on the ICC basketball roster this season as he graduated last spring, and it looks like he's not playing either basketball or baseball this year
                - but he apparently is enrolled at WIU.
