This is really exciting. You will hear a giant "woo-hoo!" from me if/when there is an official announcement regarding Max.
It feels good to be excited about Bradley basketball. This will be the most interesting off-season as Coach Wardle's team comes together piece by piece. DC, I don't think anyone will hibernate from bradleyfans.com this off season! Thanks for providing this forum for breaking news and discussion.Yajusneverno!

I think he is a big strong kid- I just question his mobility & athleticism verse valley bigs! Not super skilled which would trump his lack of mobility/athleticism
Max was quite skilled when I watched him play this year. Really good shooter. Considering his only competition from Bradley is Shaw at this point I think Max would be our best option, for whatever that is worth.
Since it would just be a one year commitment to Max and we have so many holes to fill I can't see any downside to bringing him in.Gotta stop feeding the trolls.

Will history repeat itself? Local legend Cellus Sommersville returned home to Pia to play for BU under just hired JL. Will local favorite
Max B also return home to Pia area to play for BU under new coach BW?
If Max wants to stay in the area post college, he would be toast of town if he returns to play for BU. This would set him up for future endorsements, coaching opportunities, clinics, advertisements and any number of opportunities in local sales, real estate, insurance agency opportunities, announcing gigs, restaurant or bar businesses, in the area for years to come. Think about it Max. Peoria Area is pretty nice if you can get away every now and then - and - where you are a big fish in the small (er) Central IL pond.Last edited by AZ BU Fan; 04-02-2015, 10:20 PM.BUilding for the Future

Does anybody think the point guard/shooting guard from Brimfield, Cuevas, can play at Bradley? I know he has plans on going to ICC and playing baseball and basketball.
I saw him in the state tournament and thought he handled the ball well, shot well, was a good passer and made very few mental mistakes.

Cuevas has the basketball IQ that is sorely missing on this team. There is a lot of upside on this kid. His shooting form is outstanding. His man defense is lacking but so was Maniscalco for the first two years. Put this kid in the weight room, and he will develop the toughness he now lacks for a D1 player.

I think a lower D-1 would certainly be possible........I don't see him being a MVC type player.......he's going to ICC correct?....so maybe we'll see how it goes....yajustneverknow
