when should the news guys start showing up on campus?

Graduation was last Saturday (May 17). The first summer session begins June 9. Usually most incoming players will attend both summer sessions, though some may come later if they have any academic work to complete elsewhere. So I would guess most of the new players will show up the weekend of June 7-8.
For the record, the second summer session starts July 14, and the fall first semester starts August 27.
