IHSA: revenues & profits from March Madness/Tournament plummet

This was predictable - water it down to four classes, then fewer people come to each game but costs and expenses/pensions/security costs have skyrocketed...
on top of that the past several tourneys featured plenty of Chicago schools that usually do not bring a lot of fans...

one of the silliest solutions offered (mostly by Chicago people) is to move the state basketball finals to Chicago...
right.....with all the corruption, crooked politics, and stuff that goes on in Chicago that's surely gonna work......
