that is a great job of coaching - take the team that's not necessarily been the best in the MVC or the top record and coach them up when it counts at tourney time
Amy Hayes has done this before - Jim DeRose has and we saw it with our Sweet Sixteen run - good coaching can get results when it counts.

BU softball will travel to Missouri for their first game at 3PM Friday
It is a double elimination tournament so win or lose Bradley will then play a 2nd game at either 3:30PM or 6PM Saturday.
Bradley will return to the same site of its first NCAA Tournament appearance with Sunday night's announcement the Braves will face #15 national seed Missouri Friday in Columbia, Mo. The other two teams joining Bradley in the Columbia Regional are Big 10 Conference foe Nebraska and Big 12 Conference member Kansas.

Bradley softball (27-30) is playing Missouri this afternoon in the opening round of the NCAA tournament in the Columbia, Missouri Regional. Bradley joins Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska in the 4-team double-elimination Regional.
After falling behind 4-0, Bradley scored 5 runs in the top of the 7th inning to take a lead. But then Missouri scored once in the bottom of the 7th to tie the game and send it to extra innings.

The winner of this game will play Saturday at 3:30 p.m. against the winner of today’s first game between Kansas and Nebraska. Kansas won that game 3-1.
The loser of this game will play Saturday at 6 p.m. in an elimination game versus the loser of Friday’s opening round games, Nebraska.
