and they really believe that despite the 40-50% decline in attendance by loyal fans if we just give them enough time they will have everything fixed in a few more years....

Both KW's excuse column and the recent chat with Dr. Cross blamed the fans for expecting too much too soon - the problem is bad and fixing it is hard (boo-hoo) and it's just gonna take several more years.

All of this flies in the face of Kirk Wessler's own admission publicly in a message board post that he was unwilling to show the same patience or even any patience at all when JL was hired......and that he soured on Jim Les right away then began beating the drum (those we his own words) to fire Les in "YEAR TWO" because he saw the limited potential for improvement or success....and then continued his negative coverage and calls for firing JL thereafter.

Fans like you and I are the long time, most loyal fans but I really get a strong sense they are trying to kick us to the side of the road and take off in another direction.

We've been through the marketing aspect before??¦??¦who are the consultants that got rid of the ITOO and red and white scrimmage???¦..

Agreed! Maybe Bradley is going back in the other direction now. Instead of Consultants they are hiring more of their own employees. I don't know just wondering. Maybe Lefty could give us a better feel on this

I'm pretty sure consultants didn't advise doing away with fan based events. They didn't have anything to do with those. Those would fall under BU's responsibility.

Ok Good to know. I am trying to read into what T found and not sure if I feel any better. Sounds like they are aware the marketing aspect is lacking. They are trying to increase the staff because of it but the poor decision makers are still there

...was she doing a good job at Bradley and got hired away?

...cuz if so then I am stumped since it appears she now works for Learfield Sports - and if that's the case then the very people we hire to help us with marketing are hiring our people and moving them elsewhere, right? That doesn't make sense.

yeah??¦.that's right she was hired to work at Wisconsin by Learfield??¦.I knew that and keep forgetting it. That all may have been in the works before or during the Learfield/Nelligan purchase??¦They had a position in Wisconsin and she applied at Learfield??¦??¦??¦.it's not that big of a deal really how it went down

Why doesn't Bradley seem to hire from within much any more when they need a position filled? That used to be a common practice in the past at Bradley, and it's common elsewhere.
