  • The Women make some noise in recruiting

Coach Brooks and his staff have added the 8th and 9th new member for the upcoming season. The first is an international talent who has played for a Club in Germany as well as the National Team. Aneke Schluter who comes from Freibug, Germany

There also is a Junior College All American from the #2 Ranked team in the country. Samia Kendall from Johnson County. She led her team in scoring and only played from what I saw around 21 min per game. Looks like they added in a couple good pieces with the 5 freshman and the 2 transfers who sat out this whole year. The team also returns the only 2 All Conference picks from last year Michelle Young and Leticia Lerma.

Looks like some more diversity on this roster. What do any of you expect from the new look Bravettes?

I can't wait to see the new players. This infusion of size and talent is what the team needs to go along with the young players who return. This sounds like a nice recruiting class. I'll look forward to more info on the new players from the BradleyBraves.com folks.

Article from BradleyBraves.com about the newest recruits for the BU women's basketball team-
Bradley women's basketball head coach Michael Brooks added two more recruits for 2014-15 to give the Braves nine newcomers next season with 5-8 guard Sameia Kendall (Kansas City, Kan./Raytown/Johnson County C.C.) and six-foot guard Anneke Schlueter (Ulm, Germany/Max-Weber-Schule) recently signing National Letters of Intent.

Great to hear! Looks like some solid recruiting and talent coming in. Ok, lets go to a BU winner, anyone know what kind of talent Coach DeRose has up his sleave (late signees) that are coming this fall?
