This sure is fun to watch. This is the way the game is suppose to be played. Not much one on one being played. Both teams sharing the ball and crashing the boards. An awful lot of talent and future NBA players on the floor. Wouldn't it be nice if we could get to that level someday. I know I'm dreaming but this is fun to watch.
Not a big U of I fan but I wonder why kids like Jabari Parker, VanVleet, Boatright,and the Randle kid from Stanford can't stay instate. Next year Oakifer is taking his game to Duke and Alexander is headed to Kansas. If the U of I could keep these kids home more than likely we'd be watching them this time of year. Maybe it's money ?????? I once had a BU Asst. tell me we lost out on Waymon Tisdale because we couldn't give him an oil well. If Dickie V couldn't get him Oklahoma probably did give him an oil well.

Watching this game it has never been more clear the different level of talent at the elite level. Instead of good athletes who aren't good basketball players, or good players who aren't very athletic..... these two teams were all loaded with guys who were equally both.

Wow. It is all about the talent level. I can't decide whether to be impressed or depressed.

All the games in the Sweet 16 were great games and fun to watch. Last night was fun to watch- 2 well coached teams filled with players who compliment each other. I agree that Bradley will never get to that level, but should be able improve in a lot of areas that would hopefully make us competitive in our league.

Too bad the fans of these 2 teams can't act a bit more civil and appreciative of what they have. No major incidents of rioting, but...

One more topic I came across- UConn was only the 2nd team to win a National Championship with no McDonald's All Americans on their roster (since the McD's AA team started in 1978 ). UConn joined the 2002 Maryland team with that distinction.-

On the other hand, Kentucky had an amazing 7 McDonald's All Americans on their roster, 6 of them in the freshman class alone, as well as 4 more signed for next year.-
