but Lofton helped them win games - that alone makes kids valuable and coaches are willing to overlook a lot to keep kids who are difference-makers, even if they are troublemakers

and Zeisloft?? He helped them win games, too........why would he not be valuable to them -
he was a full time starter, and considering how little they lose he still would have been their 4th best returning scorer & had the fewest turnovers of any guard who started even a single game...
he was their BEST 3-point shooter, and a 90% free throw shooter, and was even their 4th leading rebounder...

Keane was brought in among a bunch of hype that he'd start from day 1 and be their full time point guard of the future....surely anyone from ISU knows how miserable it is to get caught short on point guards so why not just keep him as a reserve.....he's not that bad and just who ya gonna get that's any better this late in the recruiting cycle??

Remember - Muller has made mistakes.....he ran off Upshaw and all he did was become an all conference 20 ppg scorer at Hofstra

My guess and it's only a guess, is that he ran them off because he will announce at least two more kids better than what he ran off. The way he's been recruiting he'll probably get three kids better than those three.

Lofton was a head case. Zeisloft graduated and is very strong academically. He will pursue a school with a strong academic history and get it paid for. Keane wasn't going to play much next year.

Sad to say but this is how I feel!

I just hope they aren't better than the ones Bradley recruits.

DM is on track to be one of the all time best in janking - in under two seasons....this now makes about a dozen players who are gone since Jank himself left...

Yes, and if he don't this year he may be the one to go but I think we'll hear something soon.

If a few players leave BU why do people think this staff can bring in anyone better? They have brought one decent player in so far and that was Pickett.

A lot of people could average 20 pts a game, on a bad team, taking 15 shots per game, with a 1.8/2.8 assist to turnover ratio... His shooting numbers, against mainly inferior competition wasn't good either- 40% from the field and 34% from 3.

Lofton is the only one that was Janked as you like to say. His attitude became to big of a distraction. Dan and company will bring in talent to replace all that left. Starting this weekend with Yarbrough and hopefully ending with a few more. Geno might wanna Jank his way out of Thursday night.

Not a lot on the current BU roster.
