Sure they come into Carver Arena at 8-1, but.........
Four of their wins have been over ridiculously weak NAIA schools!! FOUR NAIA home games in their first nine games!
(Bell Haven, Spring Hill, Southern New Orleans, Reinhardt --
I probably ought to award a prize just to anyone
who can identify what state any of those NAIA teams hail from!)
Then their other four wins are over four teams whose RPI's average 227 (Tennessee Martin, Alabama State, Sam Houston State, and Savannah State) and they were able to get all these cupcakes as home games, too!!
Pretty creative scheduling.
They have yet to actually play a road game, and their only game away from home, was a neutral site game against the only opponent so far who was under 90 in RPI, and of course they lost that one pretty handily falling behind by 20 before they knew what hit them.
So here's the pick-em challenge:
--How many total points will Bradley score against Southern Mississippi?
--and as a tiebreaker, what will Bradley's 3-point shooting percentage be for the game?
Here are my guesses:
85
.454
