Don't be surprised if we hear more on this....as I have at least heard that several people have been contacted in regards to their interest for the open spot at Nebraska - and Jim Molinari is one of them.
Nebraska assistant Craig Smith just left to take over as head coach at South Dakota
so Nebraska head coach Tim Miles is actively searching for the right guy to fill that open spot on his staff.
Of interest - Time Miles said in an interview just a month ago that he named Jim Molinari as one guy who has impacted his career & that he admired Mo's defensive coaching abilities.
...and Nebraska has scheduled WIU recently - describing Molinari as Tim Miles' "long time friend"...and "Western Illinois coach Jim Molinari, whom Miles considers a
close friend in coaching circles"

And congrats to Coach Mo ...it will be interesting to see if Garrett Covington stays at WIU or might he be part of a package deal to the Big Ten school?
