I don't think he or his family ever really liked the midwest as much as where he came from...and when the opportunity came along how could he pass this up??

How about a teacher of the game? I think Chin can recruit. Not sure if anyone else on the staff can teach the game. That was Graham's role. We need a teacher!

I don't understand why people say Coleman can recruit he has not brought in much.

Think you need to wait till the spring signing season is over before making comments like this. Sure he had a lot to do with Shaw and Thomas being in the fold. You may end up being right but don't you think we should wait for a couple weeks before being so negative.

I willing to give Coleman this spring to show what he can do. It is only his second year building his network and selling Bradley.

I think the big question will be what his chief function at Bradley will be. Will it be working daily with the team on campus or will it be continuing recruiting as his prime function?

Shaw couldn't get playing time on a bad Illini team not impressed with that pick up.

I guess a little bit closer to some family in Ohio that he hasn't had a lot of opportunity over 40 years to get back to but as I am sure you know - most every friend, associate, co-worker, and professional connection Greg Graham has had or established for the past 40 years has been much west of here and now he's going back there.
I think Greg is 100% thrilled about this chance ....

But I am puzzled by what his responsibilities were - we never saw him do much in-game coaching, and I have sat in on practices and if he was there, he didn't always seem to do much coaching, and we've never heard much talk in any way of Greg doing recruiting or going off campus.

Anyway - as many know there were some who predicted this change last summer and I even think there will be more changes in the staff soon - but possibly not until next summer.

So what do we need - we've been beating the bushes at the Texas junior colleges - maybe someone with strong connections there? Jaden Uken's juco connections for the past decade are at Chipola (Florida) but that's growing stale now that he's been at D-I for 6-7 years.
Also - how about someone with strong connections at the high schools in the 'burbs.....Rick Malnati, Gene Pingatore, Donny Boyce..
or make a BIG offer to land Anthony Beane as top assistant...

I think Nick Irvin would be a great Ast. Coach as long as it was announced before next week!

Greg was more active on the games he scouted which was more than the others....he was definitely the most reserved of all the coaches but he seemed pretty involved on the bench...

It's been very quiet regarding any replacement for Greg Graham. This is an extremely important time of the year for coaches with closing out the 2014 recruiting year, and getting a start on the 2015 recruiting class. I have heard Coach Ford wants to fill the slot quickly, and that there is a chance it will be filled by someone already here at Bradley.
