Evansville lands commitment from juco point guard

Evansville Head Coach Marty Simmons just got a verbal commitment from a 6' point guard, Taylor Stafford, from Eastern Arizona College-

Stafford is a shooting guard.

Thanks. Though the Verbal Commits site, and several others, list him as a point guard, he is a shooting guard for Eastern Arizona CC. He is a prolific scorer who averaged 24.9 ppg as a freshman, and 18.3 ppg as a sophomore.

Evansville got another commitment yesterday- Willie Wiley, a 6'7" forward from juco powerhouse Vincennes University after a visit there. He played at Springfield High School and at one time was recruited by former Bradley coach Jim Les.
At Vincennes he averaged 13.6 ppg, and 8.3 rpg.
