Great game - Wichita does not have a thing to be ashamed of - I sure hope they don't complain about reffing or stoop to demean the game...
They actually shot great (48% from 3-pt) and nailed key shots
but again - the presence of big guys in the paint, a solid point guard, and outside shooting gives them the ability to compete with anyone.
There have been people here who have been saying that for 3 years and we still haven't addressed a single one of those needs!!!!!
Maybe the point guard situation will be better next year - but that waits to be seen - but we are going to lose our TWO best big guys and we have no outside threat.Comment

.. now watching the Baylor/Creighton game...
and i am proud for the Shockers' and the Bluejays' sake at how well the did this season - but right now, today, we are seeing the difference that cannot be denied...
that 4-Star & 5-Star bluechippers are hard for mid-major guys to contend with...
Creighton is losing 38-20 late in the 1st half and they do not look good against the athleticism Baylor has
McDermott has only one bucket...
There's still time - but it's gonna be hard to make up almost 20 pts...Comment

Charles Barkley was bad mouthing the MVC at half of the Iowa State/NC game. Said Wichita had good record but were in a league that the other teams sucked. That is good advertising for the conference. Our commisioner better get proactive and build the reputation of this conference back upComment

In the end all the Big East teams are gone the same time the MVC teams are....
but the Valley should get better next year while the Big East...who knows - may reshuffle and add someone new??Comment
