  • Paint it RED part two....

How about flooding the BU front office with calls for another RED OUT for the Valley opener? What a way to open the "real" season like we did for DePaul.

Show the Valley we mean business....nothing less then total red and 11,400.

I say its an easy sell and if BU won't sponsor it BU fans will spread the word.

    December 30th....BU vs UE.

That's a good idea, I duno if it'll help or hurt, but the students won't be there for that game.

trust me it definately hurts that the students wont be there.

if you think the students arent as loud as the 70 yrd olds that take our seats then you have another thing coming

The students have been fantastic alll year and better than I have ever seen them ever since I have been there

Not a bad idea, but what about doing it for the Missouri State game? As I see it, this is a big game for us. MSU and Blake Ahearn sport one of the top teams in the Valley.

Every conference game is going to be a "big game" this year but how about waiting for the students to get back and having it against the #8 team in the nation, Witchita State....Saturday night, Jan 20th.......RED PRIDE!

I know that the WSU game is not part of our student season ticket packages, but any student can get a free ticket to the game by going to the Ticket Office on or before the 20th. I hope that they continue to get the word out on that and try and get as many students as possible back early.

Good thoughts by all....I say lets declare the entire Valley season a RED OUT. WHite towels on the seats again...and I liked those "three" papers they gave for the Loyola game also.

BU really needs to keep the momentum going for the home games. I hope they just don't rest on the fact that the MVC season bumps attendance.

We need to make Carver a hostile enviroment...

And the students don't need to wait until the dorms open Sunday, come back for the WSU game and just pull an all nighter somewhere then sleep it off Sunday back at the dorm.

I said the same thing in another thread. We don't need a 'red out' for Evansville. We will against WSU.

So my friend, are we going to be in our usual spots for the WSU game? I'll be back by then.

Also, why can't every game be a red-out? It's simple as just showing up and wearing red. I believe it's in the rule book that fans should wear their team's colors to a game.

That is good news that your back for that game. The students have been so great this year. Hope you are having a nice break but we miss ya.

I also agree, red out every game. "wear red or your sick in the head"

Actually we don't NEED a RED OUT any night. I'm simply suggesting that BU needs to capatalize and maximize the homecourt advantage any way they can.

What would be wrong with a year long campaign to really change what has been, at times, a sterile enviroment.

If its a cost issue I would agree I'd probably choose a team picked ahead of us to get the most bang for the buck but even those paper threes handed out helped rev the crowd a bit.

I just think BU historically has been too conservative and has lacked creativity when it comes to crowd enticement. I understand WINNING teams are the best incentive but what comes first (chicks or eggs)

But if they want to keep up the same ole same ole then fire another round of quick change at us and settle back into your seats....
