Mercer from the A-Sun pretty much battled toe to toe all game and took advantage of some bad turnovers and bad shot selection by Duke down the stretch.
Congrats to Mercer - they trailed 63-58 with 4:35 left...
then Duke turned it over 3 times and missed several tough 3-pointers..
and Mercer outscores Duke 20-5 to take a 78-68 lead about 4 minutes later!
Duke's bench really failed them - despite all those Blue-Chippers over there - only one bench player scored, forcing starters to log heavy minutes with 3, 4, and 4 fouls.....Coach K got outcoached today.
Final score was 78-71 with a Duke 3-pointer going at the horn...but Mercer is NO pushover...
Jabari Parker gives a whole new meaning to "ONE-AND-DONE"...
btw - Weber State giving Arizona all they can handle right, as well...
