I know it's still really early but are any games already announced/expected to be on the schedule next year?

Schedule Next Year

I haven't looked ahead at the schedule for next year yet. It's hard to get too excited after the last 2 years' schedules. But much less is known about next year's schedule than we have known at this time in past years since so many of our games were 1-timers. It means we have a lot of work to do to fill next year's schedule.
What is known....Bradley was supposed to get a return game in Peoria from UIC for the final BracketBuster game in February, 2013 that was played at UIC. However, not all those BracketBuster contracts are being honored now that the BB is defunct. We'll have to wait to see if that game gets played, but I think it will as it would seem to benefit both teams. By the way, UIC will not do much to enhance Bradley's SOS next year if they do play here. They finished the 2013-14 season 6-25 (4-25 against D1 teams) and with an abysmal RPI of 315.
Bradley also played a game at UW-Milwaukee this past season, though I don't recall whether the arrangement was ever said to include a return game in Peoria, but it's possible a return game was discussed
And it was mentioned on one of Geno Ford's shows that there are plans to play in a tournament similar to the ones we have had the last couple years that give us a couple home games, then a couple games at the tournament city- possibly in Corpus Christi. Geno suggested that would possibly include Texas A&M, North Texas, and TCU. There was no word on what teams we might play.
By the way- here are overall Strength of Schedule numbers for the last 10 seasons. By far the worst 2 SOS numbers were these last 2 years, and they are the only seasons Bradley's non-conference SOS has ever been over 300! It also shows that the 3 worst SOS numbers, and 4 of the worst 5, have occurred in these last 4 years. Could that have something to do with the change in AD? If so, can we expect more of the same?

in 2013-14 we were expecting a "return" BracketBusters game AT Loyola since we played them in Peoria on 2/18/12.
So by Loyola switching from Horizon to MVC plus the demise of BracketBusters, that meant we lost a road game with a Horizon team.
Milwaukee likewise lost a long time rival opponent in Loyola switching to the MVC - leaving their conference at just nine members - thus they were also interested in adding a game...
So it was an arrangement that fit both teams' needs and was likely just a one time thing - with, of course, the option to add a return game - but that has yet to be finalized from what I hear.

Non-conference SOS:
2003-04 266 (DePaul believe it or not at 41)

2001-02 85 (USC was only top 50)
2000-01 153 (USC and Georgia State)

I am hearing a few things about next year's schedule-
apparently the home schedule will include a visit from Wisconsin-Milwaukee. It was initially reported that last year's game at Milwaukee was a one-year agreement to fill in for the loss of Loyola as a BracketBuster return game.
...aND, I hear we have secured a home game with a team that Bradley is 10-0 all time against.
There are a couple tournaments again next year-
One will be in Corpus Christi and one in Las Vegas. It sounds nice for fans, but the opponents names I am hearing are not going to excite fans as much as they would like.

Schedule Next Year
Based on Mike Cross' ridiculous defense of last years schedule in his recent interview comments, it's hard to believe that he will do anything to upgrade our schedule. A quick and easy way to improve the win/loss record is to schedule as many cupcakes as possible and he may be moving in that direction IMO.
