  • Good luck tomorrow

Opening day of the tourney, lots of interesting games so far. Kansas fan here wishing your team the best of luck. Hopefully it will be a fun game to watch.

Here is a link to a statistical preview of the game that was posted by Webprince over on the KU Scout.com boards. He does tons of these things for a huge variety of games. His statistics are right on, but we all know that come NCAA time it's all about the Magic.

    Enjoy!

    Thanks.

But after reading that analysis, the only conclusion I can make is that Bradley has no chance of winning this game.

But then I checked out some of the previews he did for the other games that were played today, and they are about as accurate as the guesses I made when I filled out my brackets.
From PJ Star sports expert Kirk Wessler in his Jan. 10, 2012 column following 8th loss in a row at Drake-
"Yes, the Braves are better than they were when the season started two months ago. By a light year or two, they??™re better."

And from the PJ Star 4/26/12, Dave Reynolds-
"Fields and Grier both appear to be difference makers. If Bradley continues to add the right players around them, happy days may be ahead for the Braves after a long dry spell."

Statistics have their place, they give a great picture of what should happen, who is the better team on paper. When it comes right down to it though, they don't mean anything once the 2 teams hit the floor. That's why we play the games.

His previews do point out a lot of what we can watch for though. IE Your bigs could cause some serious damage tomorrow.

There is a reason that they call this March Madness and at least part of it is that anything can and usually does happen.
