You are welcome to make your point, but please do so without bringing up Jim Les.

Most people do not blame Les they just do not think he was the savior you think he was. Tough loss Bradley battled back. You were one shot away from calling the game a great effort.

I have never considered him a savior. However, I think we'd be way better off if the change was not made. You do know the change was made entirely because of a personal issue, don't you?
But the ship has sailed on blaming Jim Les. And somehow assuaging the guilt and hostility some fans have over the fact that they wanted this change and now see that we are far worse off, does not justify bringing up Jim Les's record at UC Davis.

I do congratulate a couple Bradley players on their great effort. Unfortunately, two players aren't enough to carry a team almost every game.

Kirk Wessler is singing a much different tune than he did a couple years ago when he told us how great things were, and how improved we were, and how bright the future was-

Kirk is pretty brutal and hard, even on Geno. But this is what he wanted. He helped get us where we are. Maybe he should stop telling Bradley and the BU coaches what to do, since it has resulted in the wrost stretch of basketball in my lifetime. I agree with most of what he says, and it's nice to see Kirk take off his rose colored glasses that claimed to have seen "light years" of improvement, better talent, much better depth, and far better athleticism, and finally start agreeing with most Bradley fans.
The only problem I have is his statement about "the improvement the Braves showed last year over the previous two seasons". That "improvement" was a bit of a charade caused by the extremely weak non-conference schedule, and a weakening of the MVC, as most BU fans could clearly see. Plus it was a virtually injury-free season, as opposed to the previous 2 years. Exactly who did we beat last year that was any good?

Thank you Drive-by Media that buys ink by the barrel.

(meaning... the media can say more and impress more and change opinions based on their agendas)

Well, based on all the things Kirk and his cohorts have told us about this team over the past three years, IMO they have discredited themselves as credible reporters.

BTW - even though that column by Kirk is fairly negative - what he blasts is the players & their poor execution, the lack of leadership, and the lack of talent.
Surprisingly - he is getting closer but still can't quite see it...
there are bigger problems from the top on down.
Kirk admitted you were anti-JL since his 2nd year and wanted to get anyone else in here, and has spent 3 years touting our huge upgrade and light years better.

Geez??¦.I figured you guys would be happy about Kirk's article??¦.He called out Geno and staff. I'm not sure what you want him to write.

It was a good article with no sugarcoat

To an outsider, I thought some of the first year Valley guys looked tight early and I think that really seemed to hurt you all.

I don't know, I see a lot of young talent on the floor for BU, plenty of guys I would do a one-for-one trade. I like your big Freshman guy in the middle. I like Grier as a sophmore. Bell looks like a good player.

Lemon is such an odd player, a great player, but everytime I watch him...I come away with mixed emotions.

I guess as someone who saw Swopshire play in High-School I'm suprised he couldn't find minutes. It is kind of like Gavin Thurman for MSU, both he and Swopshire have great offensive games and bodies that are "unique" for the Valley, but neither ever makes it off the bench.

I don't know, I guess I would give him one more year, unless you knew you were going to do something vastly different.

Good points??¦..especially about Walt??¦..either his plays look fantastic or awful??¦hence the mixed emotions??¦

I think we all see players on other teams that we like??¦mainly because we only see tyhem a couple times a year??¦??¦when you see them all year the opinion changes??¦

oh??¦.and you are being kind about Bell too.

                        Moser

Moser's complicated game plan: Less dribbling, more passing. Golly, what a novel idea.

I don't have much time this morning, going to the games today, otherwise I might say something I'm going to feel good about but regret later. So I'll leave it at this. 3 straight play in game one and done's. I'm tired of it. Just pathetic.

I would not have guarded the in bounds so I could have 5 guys guard 4. But then again I am not a Division 1 coach and neither are you!! It is pretty easy to be a second guessing no it all!! We got beat by a marginal D1 team on a pretty well contested 3 cudos to them for making the shot.

Have to agree with Lefty on this one. Not sure what would make a couple people happy with Kirk if that article didn't. I thought that was spot on Kirk. What's the old saying, some people would complain if hung with a new rope. Maybe that applies here. Not saying Kirk couldn't have been a little more nasty with his comments, but it got my attention and was direct and to the point. Nice article Kirk.
