Wichita leads MSU 39-21 at the half. UNI and ISU Blue had a heck of a game as neither team led by more than 4 in the last 15 minutes. Seth Tuttle scored the last 6 for UNI and they survived a 3 point shot at the buzzer by Jake Odum that went in and out twice to beat ISU 71-69. UNI will now be the #3 seed.

Illlinois State takes SIU to the wire, but SIU wins 66-65 on a late three by Tyler Smithpeters, who came up big (why didn't we recruit this kid?)-

SIU, with a 3 pointer with 9 seconds left by Tyler Smith-Peters, beat ISU 66-65. ISU got the ball down court but didn't get off a shot. That means ISU will be the 5th seed as they will play Missouri State in Game #2 on Friday. Evansville had an 18 point 2nd half lead chopped to one but held on with a 75-72 win over Loyola.

SIU/ISU game was there for anyone to take at the end but missed FT and dropped balls out of bounds made it interesting but then the skinny, un-athletic shooter that nobody recruited - hit the shot & won the game

Illini beat MSU - but the Spartans really looked bad

and on FoxSports Midwest Xavier is up 12 over Creighton
..announcers of the Creighton/Xavier game making fun of DM getting his own bobblehead..

The 3 teams that tied for 4th, Missouri State, Illinois State, and SIU all split the season series with each other. Thus the seeds will be determined by non-conference SOS.-
                          Illinois State's Non-conference SOS is 108
                          Missouri State's Non-conference SOS is 152
Southern Illinois' Non-conference SOS is 238

So why is MSU the #4 seed?

Illini really needed this win even to entertain the thought of a CBI bid...
Illini go to just 6-10 with Northwestern having severe trouble scoring again and about to lose and fall to 5-11 and sole possession of Big Ten last place.
Remember - Illini were 13-2 shortly after knocking off Mizzou and had gone 1-10 until getting back into the win column at Minnesota.

I don't your #'s are accurate. Mo State's Non-conf SOS was about 10 spots better than ISU's the morning.
