Figuring that we will probably be playing Loyola on Thursday night. Did anybody hear that Nick Osborne quit the team or something like that. If so could anybody back me up on that. It could be a big loss for them and a big gain for us. He is the one who got T'd up in Peoria.

Porter Moser stated on his radio pre-game show prior to Loyola's game Tuesday (2/25) at Missouri State that freshman forward Nick Osborne had been suspended prior to their trip to Missouri State. The reason given was "conduct detrimental to the team". Some fans suspected it might have had something to do with the technical foul he got in their game last weekend at Bradley, but it seems to me it was probably more than that.
He did not make the trip with the Loyola team to Springfield, Missouri, and of course, did not play in Tuesday's game. But the suspension was not stated as anything permanent, and I can't find any reports that he has left the team.
