Both Thursday Play-in games will be televised by the MVC-TV Network on FoxSports Midwest and ComcastSportsNet.

Here is the schedule with TV notations-

Is BU a lock for the 7 seed or do we have a chance of winning the tie breaker for the 6 seed with SIU if they lose and we win on Saturday? We split the head-to-head.

No, BU is locked into the #7 seed. We lose the tiebreaker with SIU. Since Bradley split the 2 games with SIU, we lose the second tiebreaker based on Bradley's worse non-conference Strength of Schedule.

Likewise, Loyola loses tiebreakers with the 2 teams they have a chance to tie with, Drake & Evansville, so they are locked into 10th.

I feel Loyola is the ONLY team BU can beat the majority of the time on a neutral floor. I predict Geno will coach a Friday MVC tourney game for the first time.

Remember.... Every coaches goal is to be playing their best at the END of the year. Losing on Thursday night at the conference tourney equals finishing tied for 9th. 3 years in a row would be UNACCEPTABLE !!!

I still like my proposed MVC pairings (for this year) from a previous post:
          Thursday games = 3 vs. 10, 4 vs. 9, 5 vs. 8, 6 vs. 7. Those winners play each other on Friday to play the #1 & #2 seeds in the semi-finals.

Which game does the 7th place team play in on Thursday night?

Thanks, I will be able to watch it. I'm assuming that the usual TV stations will have the MVC games.

This may be confusing for those hoping to watch the Bradley game live in Peoria or Chicago. I looked forward on the Comcast cable schedule to next Thursday (3/6), Friday (3/7), and Saturday (3/8 ).-

ComcastSportsNet Chicago will not broadcast either of the Thursday night games on their main Comcast channel. They have a Chicago Blackhawks game scheduled that night (Thursday 3/6). However, the MVC tournament games will be broadcast on Comcast Plus (Comcast cable channel 285 in Peoria).
They will show the Friday afternoon session games live on the regular Comcast channel. But then they will have the Friday night (3/7) games on Comcast Plus again, because they are broadcasting a Chicago Bulls game. They will broadcast both Saturday afternoon (3/8 ) semifinal games on the regular Comcast channel.

FoxSportsMidwest out of St. Louis (available in Peoria, but not in most of the Chicago area) also will not broadcast either of the Thursday night games because of a St. Louis Blues hockey game. I am not aware of any alternative channels for FoxSportsMidwest.
They will broadcast both Friday afternoon games, and both Friday night games. But then they will have another Blues game on Saturday afternoon that will preempt the Saturday afternoon semifinal games.

So Bradley's Thursday night game will be at 8:35 PM and will be available on Comcast Plus.
If Bradley were to win Thursday, they would play Indiana State on Friday at 6:05 PM. That would be available on Comcast Plus and FoxSportsMidwest.
If Bradley advances to play Saturday, it would be in the 2nd semifinal game at 4:05 PM. Comcast will have the game Saturday, but FoxSportsMidwest will not.

Hope that is not too confusing. It's possible ESPN3.com may carry the games that get blacked out in some areas. It is also likely that we will find some links to pirate sites that will stream the games. Stay tuned.

DC there is a FSM+ alternate channel and I believe the games pre-empted by Blues hockey will be live there.

Do you know what channel that can be seen on in Peoria on Comcast cable?

Sorry DC, it appears that Comcast doesn't carry FSN+? That's crazy.

Whats wrong with this picture? I can watch an Illinois State game on TV with Peoria announcers but Bradley can not get on TV in Peoria with any announcers. Sort of goes along with the whole scenario of the demise of Bradley basketball and Bradley athletics in general.

Bradley did have their games on Comcast when Ken Kavanagh was in charge of the TV arrangements, and have had lots of games on TV every year since the early 1970's until these last couple years. And I have no doubt they could have had them on Comcast now if the wanted (or other better TV deals). ISU now has had their games on Comcast the last few years since Bradley decided to go incognito. So it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure out where the problem is. We simply have the Moe, Larry, and Curley of sports administration.
Tired of excuses for failure. Tired of losing to terrible teams and finishing at or near the bottom of a failing league. Tired of schedules that rank near the bottom of D1. Tired of hearing "it's hard...." (fill in the blank, get a TV deal, schedule, win, recruit, etc.). And really tired of a pathetic TV deal for a product that deserves so much more. Just admit you are over your heads and get people in that know what they are doing.
