Excellent! Bobby, let me congratulate you on exponential improvements in BU TV this year. The stream looks great! If I could offer some suggestions:

    1. Create an app that can be viewed on iPhone/iPad/Roku/Apple TV. It would let me watch this while traveling, and not have to figure out how to get it to my TV (right now I use Google Chromecast).

    2. Add a scoreboard at the bottom with a shot clock!

    3. Add a direct flight from NJ to Peoria so I can easily fly in on weekends to watch games in person (hey, a guy can dream, right?).

    Thanks for all you do!

"everyone" doesn't get hung up on 20-losses -
but the media generally picks a figure and uses it all the time as the standard of "bad"...they sure did with Albeck, Molinari, etc.. and when I googled the phrase there are lots of examples...

a 20-win season for decades was the automatic ticket to the NCAA
a 20-win season is the hallmark of success in MLB
..and a 20-loss season was tantamount to so bad it was worthy of a coaching change...

Dave Reynolds' column looks completely past the Saturday game with Drake and talks about BU & the tourney....kinda saying strangely optimistic things like ...
-how we did better this year because we have a chance to finish with 8 league wins (we don't have 8 yet - may not get to eight and even if we do - it's a pretty weak argument since two of our wins are vs. Loyola instead of the Creighton squad we had to play last year & lost them both.)
-how there's "positives" in the fact that we have to play the play-in round
-that winning a Thursday game as the 7th seed would be an improvement over the past two years -- omg..
-that a win on Thursday only would be a "small victory" that is all we have left to root for ??
-chemistry issues is what stalled us -- even tho we are lacking in just about every area of the game...

          Then this....
".... a best-case scenario for BU would be to get to Friday and knock off the Sycamores."

In other words - the BEST CASE scenario would be win Thursday, then win Friday then give up??
Sorry - but I still think our best case scenario is surprise everyone and win the entire freaking tournament - although I agree it is unlikely...but that's what I see our best case scenario as - and I hope the coaches and the team try to win all four games as well.

Since we beat Loyola I'm sure Madame President and Dr. Cross were getting their talking points ready, about how we've progressed each season in the Valley. And just wait for what happens if we beat Loyola on Thursday. I'm sure they will talk about that the next step has been taken. Their Kool-aide must be spiked with something if they think we've made progress.

I wanted to do this separate from my previous post because these are my feelings about our next games. With our road record you just can't assume we'll beat Drake. They shoot the 3 and we will leave shooters wide open. We will need to switch on their screens on defense and make sure Barnes gets some shots in the 1st half. Loyola seems to be a team we match up well against but it's hard to beat a team 3 times in a season. Can't worry about ISU Blue if we don't beat Loyola. Just get er done boys.

DR also mentions this as he was trying to get the interview with Geno..
"...BU coach Geno Ford on Thursday morning ... boarded a plane for Florida on a recruiting trip."

These kids from Florida have been mentioned recently

There will be no free TV for today's game at Drake. And unless someone has a suggestion for an alternative, the only option will be the subscription video stream from Drake. The game was supposed to be made available to Bradley subscribers, but I do not see it listed on the Bradley All-Access schedule, nor is there a link for it on the schedule page.

Coach - Has Bobby Parker confirmed this? I would understand if they used a different service, but their streaming service is the same as BU. Seems like it should be a pretty simple thing to make it available to current B TV subscribers. Maybe the link will show up closer to game time?

If not, the Drake website shows a price of $4.95 for 24 hour access, but don't think I would pay for a final regular season game that doesn't mean too much at this point. WMBD Radio is free, and I like the announcers better anyway!
