Controversy in Chicago Public League championship

The Chicago Public League has ruled that 7 of the Chicago Curie players that played on their city championship team last week were ineligible. Since these 7 players had played all year with Curie, they will forfeit their City Championship, and all 24 wins they had this year.
Oddly, since the CPL has different rules and eligibility requirements than the IHSA, the IHSA still recognizes all Curie's wins and they will be allowed to play in the state tournament starting next week.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson and other protesters are now demanding that the Chicago Public Title that was stripped from Curie HS because much of their team was ineligible be given back to them -

to try to ask for better schools & better student performance - not pushing the kids thru even when they are failing..
Jesse sees only one thing in every situation and takes sides based only on that one thing - no matter what the actual facts of the situation are...
I lost whatever respect I might have had for him when he came out publicly and strongly supporting the Decatur kids who started a riot and caused great harm - but Jesse defended their actions.
