Loyola at Bradley -5 at 7:00 PM CST on the MVC-TV Network
Southern Illinois -1 at Evansville at 7:05 PM CST

    Scoreboard-
Live scores for NCAAM games on February 22, 2014 on ESPN. Includes box scores, video highlights, play breakdowns and updated odds.

In the early MVC game, Missouri State lead by double digits most of the game and easily beat Indiana State 77-66-
Box score for the Missouri State Bears vs. Indiana State Sycamores NCAAM game from February 22, 2014 on ESPN. Includes all points, rebounds and steals stats.

It seems like another loss like this one makes the chances of an at-large bid even more unlikely for Indiana State.

The only way ISUB see the big Tourney is if they beat WSU in St. Louie and I have a better chance of starting for our Braves tonight.

Now that would be a great reason to go to the game! How's your shot from 3pt land and are you willing to play tough defense?

MSU's win helps put another nail in our play in game coffin. Of course if we don't win tonight it won't matter what any one else does. Florida's win over Mississippi cements their status for #1 so it looks like the Shcokers will be coming to Peoria, cause they're not losing at home to Drake, as the #2 team in the country. If that doesn't bring people to the game nothing will.

              tourney

Looks like another Thursday night for BU!! So many chances this year! We just could not get any consistent play or effort all year when we needed a win..

The best case scenario for us is for UNI to lose against ISU Red. Assuming we lose to Wichita, (slim and none), and beat Drake, (been awhile since we've won west of the Mississippi), UNI would have to lose at home against SIU and at ISU Blue for us to finish 6th. ISU and SIU would have to lose all their games for us to finish ahead of them. That can't happen since ISU plays at SIU in their last game. With SIU playing next at UNI and ISU at home against ISU Blue plus UNI's schedule there's a good chance 1 or 2 of those teams could lose their last 2 games. None of this matters if we don't win one of our games.

I'LL be a cup half full guy, if BU finishes 7th, they most likely play Loyola Thurs. Presto, MVC Tourney win for BU.

They would play #2 seed on Fri night, ISU-B, with a small chance to win 2 MVC Tourney games and get to Sat.

1-1 in the MVC Tourney would be about right for BU this season. Playing cold ISU-B with a Tourney game and win under their belts, is BU's best shot for Sat!

Wichita just hasn't had much competition from inside the MVC this year - will that affect them come post-season?
Up 'til this year, they had to face Creighton every year and thus had a little more of a test even tho they've won 25 games or more for five years running and were a Final Four team last year.
They have only swept Creighton once in the past 26 seasons....so had they been required to go there this year - I think it would have been interesting...
