now EIU is forced to lay off and furlough hundreds of people....including Glassman himself who will have to take 16 days of unpaid furlough according to this report.....

Get this...when he took over at EIU they had a $13 million budget deficit...
in just the few short months he's been there he has cut the budget gap from $13 million to just $1 million!!!

His work was instrumental in solving one of the most notorious and well known murder/embezzlement cases in history - the killing and burial of the bodies of internationally known atheist Madalyn Murray O'Hair & her family & theft of their personal & the organization's wealth - $600,000.

In addition to Bradley having to replace their President - if you recall, we also lost our Provost, Dr. David Glassman, who left to take the top spot at EIU.

It has just been announced that his replacement will be Dr. Joan L. Sattler, who has previously been serving Bradley University as Dean and Professor of the College of Education and Health Sciences.

She will take over as Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs on June 1, 2015 after Dr. Glassman finishes his final day at Bradley on May 31, 2015 - the same day Dr. Glasser is done.

After Dr. Joan Sattler has served this past year as Interim Provost at Bradley (and from multiple sources I have heard she has done a tremendous job), Bradley has now hired a full time replacement for Dr. Glassman as Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs-

Dr. Walter Zakahi ???78... returns to the Hilltop with 32 years??™ experience in higher education. He comes from a similar position at Keene State College in Keene, New Hampshire. Zakahi also served administrative or faculty roles at Minnesota State University, New Mexico State University, West Virginia University and Rutgers University. He holds graduate degrees from Bowling Green State University.
He will assume duties on July 1, 2016. Before then, welcome reception will at 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 13 in the Hayden-Clark Alumni Center??™s Peplow Pavilion.
