  • Bradley's RPI goes to #45

According to RealTimeRPI.com, which updates every few minutes, Bradley's RPI is #45 at the time of this post. It could change slightly by the end of tonight's games, but this is a great place to be to start the conference season.

Does the RPI mean that the braves would be ranked #45 nationally? and theoretically make the top 64 of the tourny if the season ended right now?

Not exactly. The RPI calculation is just 1 tool the NCAA uses to decide on At-Large selections for the NCAA. Usually, teams under 40 have a very good chance of being selected for an at-large bid.

Loyola's RPI goes from 26 to 31 after the loss to BU.
That's not much of a drop and suggests there is not much penalty now to losung to BU on the road.

This season vs last season regarding record, RPI, and SOS.

We are ahead of where we were at this time last year, but similar after same amount of games played.

                    After 11 games played:

                    Last year -
                    Record 8-3
                    RPI 39
                    SOS 66

                    This year -
                    Record 8-3
                    RPI 48
                    SOS 67

Of games played through Dec 19th:

                    Last year -
                    Record 5-2
                    RPI 123
                    SOS 143

                    This year -
                    Record 8-3
                    RPI 48
                    SOS 67
