Tramique was the hero again last night in Hill's win over Temple..hitting the game winner at the buzzer!

"Hill sinks TC men with last-second 3-pointer

The Temple College Leopards’ postgame mood Saturday afternoon would
have been significantly happier if they could have celebrated Keyunta
Watkins’ five 3-pointers and his go-ahead 16-foot jump shot with 24.2
seconds left against Hill.TC also would have loved to praise sophomore
forward Ernest Maize, who grabbed 14 rebounds as he eclipsed Edjuan
    Green’s single-season, decade-old program record of 427.Unfortunately for
the Leopards, Hill guard Tramique Sutherland had other ideas and delivered a
dagger of a last-second shot that damaged Temple’s postseason possibilities..."

The stats are available for Saturday's buzzer beater win over Temple and amazingly,
Tramique Sutherland posted YET ANOTHER TRIPLE DOUBLE!!!
He had 29 pts on 12-18 (2-2 from the arc), 11 rebounds, 11 assists, 6 steals, and ONE turnover!!!

Tramique has scored double digits in 27 of 29 games this year, and has been close to a triple double in almost every game but ..

since coming back from his injury on Jan. 29 - he's posted FIVE TRIPLE DOUBLES in seven games!! This is virtually unheard of - and surprising he is not getting a bit more writeups!

His averages in that seven game span...
      21.6 ppg, 9 rpg, 10 apg, 4.3 steals

In all of NCAA Division I basketball, only nine triple-doubles have been posted -

Look, I understand this kid isn't going to be able to put up numbers like this for Bradley, but don't tell me this doesn't excite you all. I can't remember the last time Bradley had locked up a kid putting up these kinds of numbers.

it does - and I haven't given up yet on this season - I think we can get our act together and play as well as anyone in St. Louis...

but Tramique's skills - ball handling, passing, low turnovers, ability to score - these things don't o away when you hit D-I -
I am looking forward to seeing him.

I am as well. He obviously is going to come in and start at the point right away. If he can facilitate the offense and keep the turnovers to a minimum as well as score when he has the opportunity he will be the best point guard we've had here in awhile.

Oh - thanks! Guess I have read there is some uncertainty about coming to BU...maybe it's mostly academics though.

I don't think so - this kid is solid -- although obviously learning from the DeAaron Williams & John Wilkins situations - you never know until they are in uniform and on the court...

                    But --
the other Texas juco kid, Macari Brooks, is the one that has not signed a LOI and may have some academic uncertainties.

Tramique plays for Hill College, which is in Hillsboro, TX - apparently a place that has no real "local press" as I have never seen much of anything in print or on the web regarding Hill College's games or Tramique's performances - which are definitely worthy of writeups but not getting any.
Hillsboro is a town of only 8000 and only a few miles down the road from Corsicana (home of Navarro where Chris Roberts came from) but 60 miles away from Dallas such that they just don't get coverage.

Tramique is probably bored in west central TX having come from a Toronto suburb and used to bigger cities...
