Well Geno got his 1 road win for the year at Loyola, his quota has been met for this season lol. Doubt Bradley will win at Drake. Hello Thursday night again. That's alright, anything to end the misery lol.
Another disappointing 2nd half by Bradley. Same problems as we see almost every game- poor shooting, poor defense, non-existent post play, no point guard, and nobody to create shots other than Walt 1 on 5.
That is undeniable. They were picked 8th, and tonight moved up to a tie for 4th place (if UNI loses, and they are down 20 now) and a probable ticket out of the Thursday night games. They keep getting better each game with significantly less talent than we have, which, sorry to say, is what well coached teams do. Meanwhile, Bradley is going the other direction. Draw whatever conclusions you want.
Here is a funny picture of Barry Hinson- not sure when he displayed this. It might have been from tonight's postgame press conference, but it shows his sense of humor-
Barry said on radio show today after a question about recruiting better talent. Talent has to get better it is like the difference between a donkey and a thoroughbred. You have never seen a jack ass win the Kentucky Derby have you?
CARBONDALE, Ill. - Anthony Beane scored a game-high 27 points as Southern Illinois (11-17, 7-8) pulled away from Bradley (11-17, 6-9) down the stretch for a 75-64 MVC win Tuesday night.
CARBONDALE — While the Bradley men’s basketball team’s 75-64 loss at Southern Illinois was like so many other BU road games this season. But how the Braves got there this time was more disconcerting.…
Really? Foul trouble was what caused the loss? How about bad shooting, bad rebounding, turnovers, and weak defense against the couple players we knew could beat us. Also poor production again from everyone but Walt, Tyshon, Barnes, and Grier.

8-17 overall ,3-7 conf, 5-7 home, 1-10 road
Draw whatever conclusions you want, as long as they don't include why did BU let JL go... As great as he was. He is struggling to win multiple championships early in his term at UCD, which one would think should be much easier than in MVC, given JL's strength in recruiting, his NBA pedigree, and contacts in the BB world.
Conclusion should include how difficult it is to turn a program around when cupboard is bare and no good centers for almost 7 years. Hopefully JL and GF will be given 4-5 years to do just that.
