Have you ever seen a more ridiculous timeout than the one taken after a BU score with 7:24 to go, leaving us with 1 timeout for the game, when we were waiting on an official timeout anyway?

wonder if these broadcasters ever check the spelling or pronunciation of players' names??
      ...Willis? Dye-shawn Knight? Amare Grier?

Bad Call - No Passion from Coach

That offensive foul on Lemon was one of the all time bad calls I've seen. (I do not believe the refs cost the game for Bradley however).

But my question is -- has Geno ever had a technical? -- if he doesn't get one on that call I don't see him ever getting one -- he seems to try to negotiate with the refs -- I know players probably love to see a coach that negotiates for them instead of "fighting" or getting a little mad for them.

You can tell I'm not a "Geno as a coach" fan -- I'm sure he's a good guy but not sure about his passion nor his ability to have a offense against the zone. There's nothing there-i've seen it plenty.

Ok one other question -- I watch all ISU (red) games as well as Bradley(season tickets at both). I listen to the coaches' shows on both radio stations after the game. Why can't Geno get to WMBD sooner after the game....I know he has the press room but so does Muller and he always gets to his show sooner.

Very disappointing and likely a Thursday night in St. Louis -- I'm always there too...

Omari is now 1 of 14 from 3 against ISU red on the year. We got not one field goal from the post players tonight and only out rebounded a 4 guard team by 4. It all comes down to effort or lack there of. I thought TY and Austin played ok and Walt also but he did not score in the last 13 minutes?? This team is just in consistent.

I think I recall he got one last year maybe?

We need to get a post player who can give us some offensive production!
Like you say - ISU is really weak & thin down low and yet we couldn't do a thing against them...
even their backup center Jamaal Samuel - who couldn't get on the floor until every big man on their roster was either out with injury or ineligible...and yet Samuel by himself in just 20 minutes on the floor had AS MANY points and rebounds (4 & 8 ) than our entire team of post players COMBINED in almost 40 minutes !! (Pross, XT & Blake = 4 & 8 )

UNI is winning at Missouri State 42-38 with under 12 minutes left.

If UNI wins that game, they will move up into a 3-way tie for 3rd with ISU and MSU, and Bradley will fall back into a 2-way tie with SIU for 6th. That would make our next game at SIU really important, since it will give us the #1 tiebreaker, which is head-to-head. But if we lose and go 1-1 against them this season, the 2nd tiebreaker is non-conference SOS, which we lose with every team except Loyola. That would drop us to 7th and we'd have to play in the play-in games on Thursday.

If Missouri State wins, Bradley will be in a 3-way tie for 5th with UNI and SIU, and again, our non-conference SOS will hurt us in the tiebreaker and could push us into the Thursday games.

Of course, there are still 4 games left, but there is no chance after the SIU game that we can gain the tiebreaker against any team except Drake and Loyola, which won't matter. It is looking more like Bradley's extremely weak non-conference schedule could be a ball and chain.

In order for a post player to be effective -- you have to have an offensive scheme that gets them the ball -- I'd love to hear someone who tells me how Bradley exploits getting the ball to the middle?

If we were making entry passes and the 5 was messing it up -- I would agree that they big guy is the problem -- but c'mon -- there is not a sophisticated offense out there.

I'm not defending our 5's at all -- but they have to have something to work with...Prosser and even Taylor compare fine with Samuel. In fact, I loved the passion shown by Taylor (where is got the technical) -- he did talk after Reggie talked -- I want that sometimes

I got a kick out of Geno saying on the postgame -- he didn't see anything -- somebody was escorting XT to the bench (I think it was AB) because he didn't want XT to lose control. If Geno didn't see that, he just wasn't paying attention -- he sat XT afterwards so I assume he did.

I didn't see the first 13 minutes and watched the remainder on dvr speeding through it??¦??¦if ISU makes shot shots then they look great??¦??¦we left them open few times and other times they were contested??¦.iddn't make a difference they shot well in the 2nd half??¦

We got the ball in the post some but just couldn't score there??¦.

OG was waaay off all night??¦I've been in his corner all season but I don't know how much longer I can stay there??¦.

Of course there were several plays where our low basketball IQ was on display..

This is why no one should give up on O....soph slumps happen...and sitting out a yr hurts too.

Same goes for AF who should come along if we can bulk him up and get him getting stops.

OG just needs to work the mid range more IMO let the 3's come ...continue to force the drives but pull up, and Geno needs to call more screens for mid range shots IMO

Awful hard to win when you don't have to defend 2 positions. This is the most consistently inconsistent team I've seen at BU. Don't fault the effort, just the execution.

Illinois State, believe it or not, is still a possibility for a post-season tournament. Not the NCAA, and probably not the NIT unless they run the table until the MVC Tournament final round.

But their record now is 14-12, and 7-7 in the MVC. They have possibly the best shot at finishing 3rd as any team. In most past years, the 3rd place MVC team usually has gotten an NCAA or NIT bid.
Their last 4 scheduled games are:
                                Home vs. Missouri State
                                At Northern Iowa
                                Home vs. Indiana State
                                At Southern Illinois

All appear winnable, though not highly likely they'll sweep them since their road MVC record is only 1-6 so far.
But they are likely to finish above .500, they would be a strong likelihood for a CBI or CIT offer.

The MVC has only 4 teams with .500+ records right now. I did not do research, but I cannot recall a season in the past where there have been that few teams with a winning overall record.
