  • Several BU Opponents in Action 12/19/2006

A lot of the Braves' opponents have hit the hardwood tonight too. Wins by them will certainly help Bradley's resume.

Tennessee Tech has beaten Northwestern, 66-65 in Puerto Rico.
Wright State is upsetting a pretty good Marist team in Dayton, 34-24 with 14:00 to play.
Michigan State is struggling against a fairly decent Belmont squad in East Lansing, Spartans up 41-38 with 11:00 to go.
UIC has a lead on Ole Miss, 17-16 with 8:00 to go in the first half.
Ohio State is beating Iowa State 21-16 with 7:00 to go in the first half.
Illinois plays Missouri in St. Louis later.

Major meltdowns at the end for Iowa State and Illinois-Chicago. Cyclones lose to Ohio State 75-56 (outscored 19-5 in last 5 minutes). The UIC Flames crashed and burned at Oxford. The Rebels ouscore them 13-0 in the last 3 minutes to win 77-61. Mizzou leads Illinois at the half 38-35.

Good win for Tennessee Tech over Northwestern.
Unexpected shocker of Wright State over Marist.
Expected win, but lackluster effort for Michigan State in its victory over Belmont.

The best our opponents can do is 4-2, and 3-3 for the night is well within the realm of possibility.

Illinois knocks off Missouri in St. Louis, 73-70. Our opponents go 4-2 on the night. For the Illini, it's their 7th straight win over the Tigers, and they lead the series 18-8 overall.
