To be fair, I know of several students who attended the game but did not sit in the student section. I graduated last May and was always in the student section, but I've actually found being in the upper bowl this year, I can actually see more of what is going on during the game. There really isn't a good place for students, but where they are placed is not the best place to watch the game.

if this is year three and we have NOBODY that can help walt one iota, and we're drawing tiny home crowds that just 3 years ago were UNIMAGINABLE...then are you gonna try to blame it all on Walt Lemon?
      He was what 7-20 with 7 turnovers???¦..JP had a good game tonight I thought??¦.

I guess I saw it differently??¦.several times he made just terrible decisions when we were making runs too??¦

I understand why you stick up for him??¦..but there is a good Walt and a bad Walt??¦.tonight we saw the bad Walt??¦...

Walt is playing out of position excuse again? He has had 3 years to learn and develop. Give me a break he has played out of control and made bad team basketball decisions most of his career. He is a good one on one player very hard to guard but this is a team game that takes rhythm and balance tough to do when out of control. That being said Walt is the kind of student athlete you can be proud to have at Bradley! I will make a bet right now we all be praising our point guard at this time next year!

I have been to a few ball games and I think I can judge a good game from a bad game...
seven turnovers is not good but his shooting pct (35%) is considerably better any other of our guards - and if we didn't get the ball enough into the hands of the guys closest to the hoop then duhhh this is what I have been harping on for THREE YEARS - our game plan simply does NOT try very hard to get the ball in the paint - can't blame Walt for that.

Again - if you wanna blame Walt then just who directs Walt to handle the ball and dribble into double teams? For a decade if we looked out of synch - the coach got ripped here and in the media - now when it happens, Walt gets blamed - pretty obvious what the agenda is..... it'll be funny to see who the JL haters try to find to blame next year -- they're gonna look silly trying to hang it on Walt

I'm sure you were at the game tonight and if you think Walt had a good game tonight well than I'm just at a loss for words. It sure must look a lot different from your seats than mine because as I posted earlier JP was by far the best Brave on the floor. I'm not saying Walt cost us the game because he didn't. JP just didn't get any help from the other 12 players. We reverted back to our dribble, dribble, dribble and no passing offense. So many bad decisions and forced shots. So very hard to watch.

I recall last year people saying they couldn't wait to get rid of Jake Eastman, Will Egolf, and Dyricus Simms-Edwards. Those people were extremely short-sighted. They were a lot better than some gave them credit for.

The same will happen with Walt. He carried the offense tonight, while Omari was absolutely awful, and nobody else seemed interested in playing offense. He shot poorly, but don't you think that has something to with him being double-teamed, and forcing shots since nobody else can score?
Without Walt this season, this team would be 6-20. This team is guaranteed to be bad next year without him.

And the crowd was terrible. There were more no-shows in the lower bowl than for any MVC game this year, and probably no more than 4500 people in the arena. I sit in a nice desirable section (Sec. 14) behind the bench, and my wife and I were the only 2 people in our entire row. Plus the 2 rows behind us were almost entirely empty.
What has happened to Bradley basketball, and the loss of support is truly sad. I know a bunch of current season ticket holders who do not plan on renewing, and I expect crowds of 5000 next season. This is a disaster in motion, and it was all foreseen by some.

The official announced crowd was 6,302. I have not had time to check, but has Bradley ever had an attendance that low for an MVC game? Let alone one that had some significance for the team.

every year it is predicted that the crowds will get smaller, the play will get worse, the losses - to the IUPUI's and IPFW's and even by 30 and 40 pts will keep happening even on our home court ...
Every year those predictions turn out correct......
and then it does happen....and fans keep looking for any possible way to tie all the bad stuff to someone, anyone who was here before 2011 -
..can't wait to see what delusions are put forth next year when we look even worse....even KW who hailed we'd be immediately better - now admits the rebuild is years away - maybe many, many years -- how many are gonna still be here for it to happen...
Many of BU's programs have been driven into the ditch with historically low attendance, blowout losses, and bottom of the Valley finishes - when will people finally admit we've seen enough of this?

Our guards were 10-35 while we saw what a true point guard does for a team in Jake Odum. He had 27 points and when his team needed a play he got it for them with a FG, many FT's and passes at the end of the shot clock that they converted for easy FG's. Had a chance to get above .500 and get a leg up among the teams who should finish between 4th and 7th but once again couldn't deliver. Too many missed FT's and wide open shots. Too many quick and unnecessary shots and turnovers. There's no question we play hard, as ISU had 18 turnovers, but we just don't always play smart. And better teams will take advantage of that. I think Drake, Evansville and Loyola will be in the play in game so that should leave BU, ISU Red, UNI and SIU fighting it out to stay out of 7th. A win in one of their 2 next games for BU, at ISU Red and at SIU, could go a long way towards staying out of the play in game. We finish at home against Loyola (MUST WIN) and Wichita and then go to Drake (Hope we won't need it). ISU Red last 4 games are at home against MSU, at UNI, at home against ISU Blue and at SIU. UNI plays at MSU and Drake, at home against ISU Red and SIU and at ISU Blue. SIU plays at ISU Blue, home to BU, at Evansville and UNI and home to ISU Red. Need to go down I-74 and just get it done in Normal on Saturday.

I agree that I think we now must win another road game to keep out of the Play-in games. Can we win at ILSU? Hope so.

                            Story from BradleyBraves.com
PEORIA, Ill. -- Indiana State guard Jake Odum scored 27 points, highlighted by two late 3-pointers and a 13-for-13 effort at the free throw line, helping the Sycamores to a 68-62 win at Bradley.

Was the most disappointing crowd of the year. Virtually no students, which if it's like that against Wichita will make us really look good on ESPN 2, and the most no shows in the lower bowl at Carver that I've EVER seen. And I hate to pile on T but Walt just didn't have a good game. If he had just had a normal game we'd have probably won. I do agree though that our other guards, Grier and Bell, have got to show up and make shots. It's pretty obvious that when we don't move the ball around crisply we have no rhythm on offense.

Major fallout at Missouri State tonight as I watched parts of their game against Drake, and saw far more empty seats than fans. Fallout continues at Oklahoma State as well as that crowd they had for Eddie Sutton night last week against Iowa State was terrible. 3-4 years ago, you couldn't find an empty seat there anywhere. The fallout at Bradley has spread elsewhere, but some of you seem to fail to understand that.
