ISU was the worst 3-pt shooting team in the league and they have a pretty strong guy in the low post-
Why did we not start the game in a zone?

      questions for Geno

Bobby, there would be a lot more questions submitted if the questions were not screened. It appears that only the "soft", easy questions are asked of coach Ford. None of the questions that the fans really want answers to are asked....for example...can coach ford explain why the team is worse now than they were when he came 3 years ago....why has the recruiting become less than acceptable....how does he feel about the drop in attendance and what is he doing about it. .....when and how does he plan to turn things around so that Bradley is a power again.....why is it impossible for Bradley to win games on the road...Da Coach, please do not delete this....the fans want answers to these type of questions. A lot of people in the Bradley organization need to be held accountable for the subpar program we are now experiencing. They need to answer the "hard" questions. Please do not delete. And, Bobby, please ask the "hard" questions. The questions being asked are the same old questions that have been asked and answered over and over again. Let's make it interesting and truly informative.

Not saying those aren't legitimate questions, but I don't think the point of the show and segment is to give Geno the third degree. I believe those type of questions put a halt to the call-in radio show with Coach Les several years ago. Les was being asked by fans to justify in-game coaching decisions, which no coach should have to do with the fans.

I don't think DC will delete it??¦.so you are safe there??¦

you really think Geno should answer a question about what he's going to do about drop in attendance???¦I suppose he could go door to door and try to sell tickets or beg on a TV commercial??¦.

I'm sure he's waiting for just the right time to turn things around and make BU a power again??¦you know??¦.maybe next Wednesday or 2 weeks from today??¦??¦

            apathy

Otherwise known as apathy....there is a point when hard questions need to be asked. We are there now...wait for coach fords question and answer session...the same as always.

seriously???¦what is Ford going to do about drop in attendance???¦.your agenda is obvious??¦..the only really legit hard question why is it so hard to win on the road?

Otherwise the rest are silly or obvious

I agree with this thread. It is not all Geno's fault. You are right he cant answer attendance problems but that leads me to my point all season. The problem goes much higher up the ladder which makes it even worse in my opinion. It is easy to fire a coach but when you replace him the decisions are still being incorrectly by people higher up. So!!! same problem again

whether things are anyone's fault is not really so important as someone stepping up and taking some responsibility as captains of he ship
...people who keep using the haggard old line that it's not the fault of the people in charge - that excuse is growing older and sillier

                    Sagging attendance

In thinking about the sagging attendance and the lack of atmosphere at home games I think there are several issues.
                    • The increase in ticket cost at a time when we are a losing program.
                    • The missing killer instinct in the team
                    • Players standing around rather than making cuts without the ball.

I guess my belief is that there is a lot of blame to pass around. I see some bad decisions made by a variety of people, which is understandable, but I don't see people correcting the mistakes.

well - people have offered suggestions from a fan's perspective..
I have done it several times - this particular post lists 7 or 8 suggestions I thought might boost fan interest and attendance - but as you can readily see, not one of them came to pass...
That's fine - I still go to all the games, I didn't need all those things for my benefit - but I now see a couple thousand more empty seats this year even than last year.

I agree T. There would be enough people from the Boosters club and this website who would volunteer their time to help promote Bradley sports but the powers that be would rather go to ......That great outside firm......Nelligan Marketing....

I would really like to hear Ford??™s take on our road record since he??™s been here. Besides the obvious, better play and coaching, what else has been tried or will be tried to get this road thing figured out? I understand winning on the road isn??™t always easy, but I feel even with dumb luck we should have more road wins then we do now under this crew.

My other question would regard scheduling. Do we have any plans to beef up our schedule and perhaps take on a ???anyone, anywhere mentality???? As a fan, I want to see my team play anyone and not be afraid. Maybe we don??™t have the right team for it right now, but I believe better overall competition can help breed a better BU team.

Those are legit questions??¦.regarding scheduling I don't know about the anybody anytime thing??¦but why is hard to schedule other mid major teams regionally on a home and home??¦.
