UNI/Loyola is in OT - UNI had the lead almost the entire game and even looked comfortably ahead at times but lost an 8 pt lead over the last five minutes - and a six point lead in the final one and a half minutes.
They committed silly fouls (three bad ones by Wes Washpun) and Loyola's final eight points in regulation came at the FT line.
Loyola then went on in OT to win as UNI again made poor choices in fouling and Tuttle & Washpun fouled out.
edit -- Loyola wins in OT 93-87
Illinois State is playing at Indiana State.
If ISU were to lose (they and UNI drop to 4-4), then BRADLEY could move into a TIE FOR 3RD PLACE in the MVC with a win at Evansville tomorrow.

Illinois State is doing their Jekyll and Hyde impersonation again. The bad team showing up tonight. The Redbirds are down 20 points early in the second half-

ISU loses 76-62 at Indiana State
now with a win at Evansville BU is in a 3rd place tie
MVC kinda turning out the way many expected - one or two decent teams then everyone else at .500-and under battling for 3rd-thru-10th
Even Loyola & SIU who were in last could be a game out of 3rd

It was at Loyola. It was an entertaining game to watch, and as mentioned, UNI lead almost the entire game, and blew it in the final minute by repeated senseless fouling of Loyola, even though UNI had the lead. Loyola scored their final 8 points of regulation on free throws to close an 8 point deficit and tie the game. Even then, UNI had the final shot to win, but Seth Tuttle missed a couple point-blank layups at the buzzer. Then in overtime, Tuttle and Washpun fouled out with silly fouls, helping to assure Loyola the win.
The announcers on Comcast SportsNet, who were pro-Loyola, jubilantly proclaimed that beating a 10-10 UNI team at home was Porter Moser's signature win at Loyola .

Wichita beats Drake 78-61 -
Whatever happened to Seth Van Deest? - he's almost 7-feet yet was scoreless and only a couple rebounds...
..when he was making his return this year after sitting out with a shoulder injury - he was projected by some as all-league.
One other aspect - the kid that killed us, Aaron Hawley, had another nice game - 16 pts & 4-6 on 3-pointers.
Since his "coming out party" against us when he went for 27 - he has averaged 16 ppg & 22-42 from the arc...
He leads the MVC (in conference play) in 3-pt shooting percentage and is among the Top 10 in scoring.
Missouri State beats SIU 69-63 to keep SIU in last place by themselves
The Barry Hinson rebuild will take a big hit when they lose their best player, Desmar Jackson, next year -
Santa Clara's Jared Brownridge got 30 pts last night including 5-10 from 3-pt
One more interesting game - UIC fans thought they had their first Horizon win with a 2 pt lead, 4 sec left at Oakland, but a wild 3-pt buzzer beater sunk them to 0-7.

ISU loses 76-62 at Indiana State
Dan Muller threw his players under the bus by saying the following after the game:
“It was one of our worst defensive performances of the year”
“I was trying to find guys who were playing the hardest out there and settle on that”
“We had stretches where we did not compete”
“I've talked about that a lot. Man, it’s disappointing"
“we had guys not ready to play today.”
