I do not hate Geno. He seems like a real nice guy. But, this is a business and if next year is more of the same, he will be replaced. Probably not until after year 5. We are just tired of watching bad basketball and the coach is ultimately responsible.

How do we know Shaw can play? He couldn't get off the bench on a not very good U of I team.

I promise he can play..........Sets a good post and can catch a post pass/ rebound in this league.........Im gonna call him a wash w/ TP and thats saying something!

Clearly, we need a change........ The Pres., AD, and Trustees need to step up if Bradley is going to continue to have any kind of decent BB program.

The Shaw I remember at U of I was taking bad 3 point shots and didn't want to play inside and that's why he is not there anymore.

If Swop is our shooter, what's he doing on the bench most of the game with this horrible team? Shaw is a question mark and I will be very shocked if the PG Tramique doesn't decommit after this horrible season. I am quite sure Geno and gang hyped up the team to recruits that Bradley was going to be a contender this season. I wouldn't want to play for 1 of the worst teams in the country lol.

I like that thought...I cheer for a win every game -
Nobody wants to see us run off a bunch of wins any more than I do - and we'll probably get some by default since there's a few hapless teams in the MVC that are just as bad as we are....
.. but I stand with my predictions from before the season even started that the MVC this year is basically just one good team, then maybe a couple more above or around .500 (who are only .500 because of picking up gobs of wins due to the weakness of the MVC) with the rest battling for last place.

I am definitely looking forward to seeing Tramique Sutherland - but he's still a bit of an unknown and as we've seen, some of the juco kids don't pan out.
But one of Mike Shaw's issues is that he simply didn't want to play in the paint but wasn't a wing player....if he can morph into a guy who is happy to bang down low and get us some points in the paint - he will be a plus.
But Swop as our shooter? I hope so but despite our terrible depth, he's still getting only a minute or two off the bench for a reason -- if he could hit the outside shot reliably, then don't you think he'd be getting more playing time since that's something we desperately need right now?
