if losing by almost 30 to the best team in the conference means you're not good enough for that conference then should Bradley join the Summit?

Northwestern sure doesn't seem to be trying to get out of the Big Ten...

Just the opinion of one person (who, by the way is right a lot more than I am wrong). I simply predicted Butler had a great situation dominating their conference, recruiting good players, keeping almost them all of them for 4 years allowing them to develop into a great team.
But I said that the move to the Big East would turn them into an also-ran, like it has to DePaul. And that is exactly what has happened. Now when they try to recruit and compete for the higher level players that other Big East, ACC, Big Ten type conferences are going after, they won't get them.
They'll still make more money in the Big East, so if that is the most important thing to them, they will be OK.
I'll predict that that Creighton will see a similar thing after McDermott leaves. IMO, they will not be able to compete with the top teams year after year.
