First - I see a huge difference between maybe discussing their opinions and possibly having an opposing opinion vs. actually bashing them personally - which I don't believe I have ever seen.

Get back to me when there's even ONE example of direct criticism of them personally that gets intense, hateful, or if someone talks about "taking them out", shooting objects at them, clotheslining them at a game, or physically attacking them.
Even then - it still wouldn't "get old" until threads exclusively for bashing & filled with small-minded rants reach 350 pages...

Nobody has bashed them here? Give me a break T. Maybe you should take off THOSE rose colored glasses

Have to agree with Lefty here. There has been many posts bashing both people in question and no I'm not wasting my time to look them up. We all know posts have a way of disappearing on this site but I can assure you they have been posted many times.
If I were you I probably wouldn't read any of those 350 pages you speak of. Probably not very entertaining for either of you.

wily - I have never seen a comment here or anywhere that harshly attacks anyone in the media with personal hatred, or wishing harm on them - or blaming them for everything from the low attendance to the horrible offense - nor have I seen people post long-winded rants about how they hate discussing Bradley basketball because of what they see those guys write..
sorry - the people who criticize Kirk Wessler are not anything like the people who have posted the harshest and most immature personal attacks and rants about the opinions of other people on the message boards.
And in a strange sort of twist the forum where people have gone the most ballistic with such attacks on other posters - is now turning against each other and more viciously attacking the very people they have claimed should be off-limits.

I agree ,I've never seen a threat of personal harm but I've seen many of personal hatred. By that I mean ,if someone wants you to lose your job, I consider that hatred. I would say that's probably a pretty good reason why neither post on this board but are regulars on TOB.

I suspect that has a whole lot more to do with who they work for. They never posted on TOB for many years, until the traffic on their old College Sports Board dropped off to nothing. They only started posting when the PJ Star added the Bradley Hoops board a couple years ago.
By the way, none of the moderators on this board ever post over there, either.

And I also have never seen anyone here attack them personally. If they did, it would be removed, like all such personal attacks are. But I do not recall that it has happened.
Yes, there are some that disagree strongly with their opinions, like when it was said Bradley is better "by a light year or two they're better", as the team was losing 21 of the last 23 games that season, and when a totally unproven and unheralded (except by the PJS) recruiting class is called "stellar" and "Impact players" and compared equally with a couple of the best recruiting classes in the past 25 years. I think even KW and DR might like to take those back.

There has been plenty of media bashing. I don't have time or feel the need to prove it.

Please stop. Opinions were bashed. Not individuals. If you can't see the difference, then we'll never agree on anything. I cited a few opinions above that even those who wrote them would probably admit they were worthy of ridicule, and there are many more, including this extreme hyperbole after the Indiana State loss.
