Hung with them this long, why give up after getting beat by the #5 team in the country?
What part of illegal don't you understand?

Gonna be honest, this gave me a chuckle. I agree, this WSU loss shouldn't be what puts anybody over the edge.

Lemon kills the offensive flow with his wild shots, but at the same time he is really the only scoring threat. Bradley's lack of athleticism down low is dreadful.

Bradley players were hanging their collective heads. The way they carried themselves was terrible.

I remember the great battles year after year with you guys. One of my favorite games of all time was the game in Wichita when 'Hawk dropped like 33 in the first half with the Praylow twins draped all over him. I gave him a standing ovation at halftime....then the Shocks ran the ranked Braves out of the building in the 2nd half. I will see Voicey Winters in my nightmares for years.

I get the feeling Geno is a really good dude, but man he seems lost and reaching right now. They kids play as individuals and there is little to no teamwork. Geno seems positive, but the kids do not.

As a fan of WSU, I want you guys better. It hurts to see your team struggling this bad. These blowout wins do little for anyone.

I hate to see you have to do another reset...but is there any other answer at this point?
Nice to see this post man. Thanks.
I can't say enough about the WSU program. I know a lot of people are disgusted by Marshall, but I like the guy and it's been nothing but up for you guys with him. Turgeon was a good one too.

There certainly is not much harm in getting beat by a top 10 team on the road. It??™s more how we get beat and the fact that we can??™t beat ANY TEAM on the road. You would think by just pure luck and randomness we would have more road wins even with one of us coaching.

For the record, I??™m not giving up. I??™m just extremely frustrated and saddened by our current situation. Last night??™s game could have been 40+ if Marshall didn??™t call off the dogs so early.

No disrespect to its tradition, but Bradley no longer has a good basketball program. This is not a bump in the road. The reason I will stay tuned in is that I know with the proper management, there is always a possibility for resurgence.
              Compete. Defend. Rebound. Win.

Technically, I think Bradley has some good players, quite a few had success in Juco but the team is just playing like individuals. Part of it may be due to Geno's fast paced offense from Kent State which involved little passing and attempting to score quick. I can't count how many times the post man has been open for a dump down pass but Walt or 1 of other perimeter players just ignore him and continue to pass around the perimeter looking for a lane to drive to the hoop or take a horrible jump shot. Geno needs to abandon ship and maybe adopt a grind it out offense with the height of this team. Defense, well they just suck on defense lol.

For the last 2 years all we need is 4 more wins to equal the total wins the last 2 years of JL

Don't know what yor point is, except to bash someone who's been gone for going on 3 years, but how many would it be if Lemon and Pickett were out for the entire season?

JL didn't play a lot of cupcakes that's all Geano knows.

You do realize that 11 of our wins the last 2 seasons were against teams with RPI over 250? Something that we rarely scheduled during Jim Les' coaching tenure.

Also it is interesting that you choose to include comparison with the 2010-11 season when the loss of Taylor Brown and Sam Maniscalco, 2 All Conference starters, guaranteed we'd lose a bunch more games than we would have if we had been healthy. We still won 12 games that season, which is almost twice as many as Bradley won the next year when the team was completely healthy.
So what's the excuse for that? and for this year?

I will go easy on you.....when Geno coaches an NCAA tourney game @ Bradley (doesn't even have to win) you can compare him to JL!

Let's see.....double the salary of JL.....top 2 assts double the salary of JL's.....double the recruiting budget of JL....and mens practice facility already in place to tour with recruits....shouldn't it be double the wins of JL?

people held JL to his promises of winning NCAA games - yet he did what he promised....go back to all the interviews and chats from 2010 thru current as listen once again to all the promises our current athletic staff have made - and we are "light years" from seeing any come true.

Although it's obvious I was a Jim Les fan and was against his firing, I have nothing against Geno or his staff. All new coaches make promises although a better word might be wishes. Think we all hope Geno can still get the program back on track. If the recruits keep their word and still come to the hilltop I think it can happen. GO BRAVES.
