Unless you like low scoring games, with bad shooting and a lot of turnovers, this is an ugly game.

In my book it's only ugly if you lose!

How many shots did Walt take to get his 22 and how many turn overs did he have?

Not a moral victory but expected to lose by double digits today.....Bradley disrupted their O' but they made their FTs....again we missed ours! Decent effort for an away game where over the years we never seem to win!

On the flip side he had 3 steals to start the game....this lose is not on Walt! What did Barnes do today....what did Bell do?

Even thou they lost I thought Bradley played well. It still shows we need shooters.

Took too many bad shots again......

We really tensed up the last 8 minutes

                        2 unforced turnovers by Walt

switched to zone for some reason and gave up a wide open 3 and offensive rebounds....

Not saying they cost us the game, but the refs certainly didn't help us in today's game at all. There were quite a few questionable calls today, to put it nicely. That's all I'm going to say on the subject.

On the positive, I thought that Walt played a good game minus turnovers. Pickett, despite struggling offensively, contributed in other ways. Prosser played his best game in a long time, I think.

I wish Alwan got more minutes in other games. He played great when he was out there today. I think he is actually our best pure shooter (maybe Omari, but Mason's, at worst, a close second). His defense isn't bad, and when he's out there (like with Nate), it seems to energize the team. His two shots at the end of the first half were huge. Hoping we see him more in the future.

Were we great today? No, but I think we played about 35 minutes of excellent defense. If we can play defense like that, we should at least be in every game (and that includes our next game at WSU). Offensively, we struggled, but we just need to key in on being a good defensive team, and that will lead to some easy offense for us on the other end. I think we have the pieces to be one of the best defensive teams in the Valley, and that could go a long way to keeping us out of the Thursday night games in March.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Walt Lemon, Jr. led all players with 22 points, six assists and four steals, but it was a trio of Lucas Eitel 3-pointers that lifted host Indiana State to a 62-59 win Saturday.

"another strong statement by a BU team seemingly on the verge of vastly changing its fortunes"

Really? Maybe "by a light year or two"?
