noticed one thing about their fan base....
they are winning, they have a good, entertaining team, their attendance is up considerably - they have nearly passed us in home attendance average (something that just 3-4 years ago would have gotten you put into a straight jacket had you predicted it)...
and yet they do not seem to have a fan base that frequents their fan site & message board -- it's virtually empty except for the few posts by the main mod who's a pretty intense Syc fan...
a couple more comments relative to today's game...
The Sycamores shoot 42% from 3-pt range - we shoot 29%!
They are 12-3 and on a roll, we are 6-10 and doing poorly..
doesn't take a genius to see the value of a couple guys that can hit some outside shots...Comment

The game just came on WAOE. Even though I have the High Def digital package, and WAOE is available in High Def, the broadcast looks like it is going to be in standard, low definition format. In fact, I don't think any of my non-High Def channels get as blurry and grainy a picture as this broadcast appears to have.
Plus the picture does not even fit on the screen, so the score at the bottom of the picture is not visible. Anyone else have that problem?
Very disappointed. I wish the game was available on ESPN3.
And yes, the broadcast team is the Indiana State team from Terre Haute.Comment

WAOE isn't doing the broadcast - the are just picking up the broadcast by WAWV (ABC) in Terre Haute ..but the score is off the bottom of the screen on the broadcast
early on we make a big mistake on a wide open breakaway layup by Pickett who hot dogs it a little one-handed and blows the bunny...
then we come back and commit a turnover, and a truly stupid intentional foul...having also given up an open 3 by Arop to start the game...Comment

It looks like WAOE has changed the format, so they could get the scoreboard into the picture. But this is still a bad quality picture.Comment

that has to be a charge - how can the ref below the endline possibly see that well enough to call a block?
...omg - calling a double foul is a really lame way of covering their incompetence
