It wasn't much. The Penn State kid threw an elbow and hit Nunn in the head. Nobody else got involved.

here's video - Nunn bumped Newbill - sorta innocently after Nunn made a layup but Newbill took exception and elbowed Nunn in the head in retaliation and thus got ejected...

I just re-watched the video a couple more times. It looked more like an open-handed punch than an elbow, but regardless, the player certainly deserved to ejected.

I kinda agree, lefty - it was hard nosed play but it was not above the shoulder - which is the major key the refs look for in assessing a severe penalty
