What would u do with the previous hire/fire? Would u keep les? Would u still hire geno? Hire about any of the other "candidates"? I really wanted to give jerrance Howard a shot. I promise one thing, it couldn't b any worse. What would u choose if u could go back and control the situation?

I don't have the answer but if you look at the amount of money this has cost BU between the buy-out, Geno's salary which is double Jim's.....the staff makes more and double the recruiting budget.....all the lawyer fees from the buy-out to the ongoing dispute with Kent State........thus far the return is dismal to say the least!

I still wonder why you would fire a coach who loses his best 2 players for the season and had hopefully a solid recruiting class coming in. But that's water under the dam. Still hoping Geno can turn things around.

we are too far currently up a creek to think we can easily go back to where we were or to be able to get where we want without a long arduous trek ..

the only possibility now is hit the recruiting trail, land some true difference makers, hire Josh Cunningham's & Peyton Allen's moms and get them all coached up and winning...
Who'da thunk that after three years we'd be talking about rebuilding plans but this is were those certain unnecessary and impetuous decisions in 2011 have led us - and again - don't say we weren't forewarned - numerous wise fans and even experts told us that all of this was going to happen.

I know for a fact that Jerrance wanted the job and petitioned strongly to get an interview, but was not granted one. I think he would make an outstanding head coach, and will be one in the near future.
