That is not a typo- Southern University is a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference, a rather sorry bunch of D1 schools. They were only 3-9 before playing Champion Baptist College of Hot Springs, Arkansas, a member of the Association of Christian College Athletics. Southern won the game 116-12.
