The 2013-14 MVC Regular Season Game Pick Em Contest is back, and bigger than ever!
For those not familiar with this contest, AZ BU Fan will post a new thread before each of the 16 Regular Season MVC Games asking for your picks
for each MVC Team for that game. You will be asked to pick the outright winners.
There are several chances to win and gain the respect of your fellow posters/followers here on BF.com:
1. Most correct game winners - FH regular season
2. Most correct game winners - regular season
3. Most correct MVC Tourney game winners
4. Most correct MVC game winners - total regular season + MVC Tourney
Each game there is also a chance to be recognized for picking 5/5 winners correctly, and, a chance to be recognized as leading the competitors in season to date standings.
Since AZ BU Fan runs the contest, he can not compete. His alter ego, THE PENNY, will compete and will make his picks by flipping a coin (a penny of course). Heads the home team is picked to win; Tails the visiting team is picked to win.
Now you got to be asking yourself, do I feel lucky? Can I beat a flip of the coin with MY predictions? Well do your feel lucky? Do ya, prognosticator?
This is a long contest and only for the strong willed, who can remember to post their picks for each game by the deadline set. Sometimes the turnaround in-between games is very short - one or two days max.
You have to stay on your toes and get your picks in on time if you want to have a chance. AZ BU Fan will be very unforgiving for those who miss the deadlines (approx. 1 hour before the first game tips off).......
Contest winners the past 3 seasons have averaged about 4 correct picks per Game.
One last warning, once you have posted your picks, you can not change them. If anyone is suspected of wrongdoing, they will get banned from the contest for life (except of course, THE PENNY).
