Here's a link to a nearly 3-minute video that's a year end greeting card from Bradley University...
touting all that's happening and all the great things about Bradley..
..great people, successes, awards, top rankings among universities...and of course a whole lot of sports items mixed in...Joe B. McDade honored, the Soccer team's successes, etc....
BUT -- here's where I am left stumped....it's a real nice video but I kinda expected more about BU's premier sport.
Like it or not....I am not alone in thinking and noting that Bradley basketball is the single highest profile endeavor associated with BU...
If you look anywhere in newsprint, on the web, twitter...anywhere for when & how often Bradley University gets mentioned - the large majority of the time it is in the context of Bradley basketball!
BUT - this video highlights MORE on Bradley's Triathalon Club and dozens of other endeavors considerably more than BU basketball.
In fact the only thing in the video about BU basketball is a snippet about the signing of the little Sahr children - a news story that's sorta disappeared as the Sahr kids no longer sit on the bench or are involved with team activities.
But - seriously - NOTHING about basketball - 2013 at least saw the return of Bradley to post-season play, we have a new "branding" and logo - which was essentially never seen nor shown in the video.
Well - it's a nice video - but I thought the BU basketball program & team should have gotten a little more attention.
