Looks like MVC is going to be 2-2 with BU & MSU yet to play - although Missouri State should beat Alabama A&M

Indiana State clobbers IUPUI by 20, Sycs score the first 7, got up double digits early & were never threatened...
SIU gets a win vs. Ball State (2-7) - Pendleton 21 off the bench
Evansville loses to Butler 68-59 - Balentine 26, but he took almost as many shots as the rest of the starters combined
Northern Iowa in an ugly, low scoring game - 5 minute to go, Virginia 45 - UNI 35, UNI is 2-17 from the arc

totally not true, IUPUI cut that ISU 18 point lead to 3 on a few occasions and there for a while many of us ISU fans were sure we were gonna lose.

I never said the 18 pt lead was never cut...but it was my assessment that they were never theratened with the loss of their lead - IUPUI never got closer than 3.

What happened was the lead grew to double digits early...even before the first time out and the sycamores never again lost the lead...
Call it what you want - they won from wire to wire...and finished up by 20

Then IUPUI never got closer than 5 the rest of the 1st half...
In the 2nd half the lead shrunk to 3 pts for TEN SECONDS (at 17:12) - then again at 15:29 for about half a minute, then at the 10 min mark IUPUI went terribly cold and did not score a FG again for 6 minutes-
Indiana State never lost the lead and never allowed the lead to dwindle below 3 pts without immediately responding & scoring

My overriding point is that clearly IUPUI handled us way easier than they handled InSU - we don't have either a signature win nor even a good loss

Missouri state wins easily, BU loses to Pacific

MVC goes 3-3 - BU's RPI will fall down to near 250, our SOS is about 200 but the fact that we're padding everyone else's win total has tremendously inflated our opponents' strength & RPI
